Hi my name is Linda, I am a counsellor for young people and adults, I have worked alongside a number of charities in and around Cambridgeshire including, Open Door. My experience also includes working as a Cruse Bereavement volunteer.
I am warm, open and genuine. I have the strength, courage and empathy to be with you, while you explore your feelings and experiences that have shaped your life. I have experience in working with a range of clients both long and short term and can work with a range of presenting issues.
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor, Dip, Couns and a Registered member of the BACP and Accredited Member of the NCPS, which means that I follow both the British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapy and The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society strict ethical guidelines.
I work using an Integrative person-centred approach, I feel that it is important to recognise that people are all different and what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. I also work using art therapy; using art can address a number of different issues and difficulties experienced by clients.
I am currently based in Ely, Cambridgeshire where I am be able to offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling.
